Let’s put life back into our livelihoods

Hi there.

I’m Sarah Malin.

I believe a new approach to work is emerging, but it needs more change agents. I coach people who want a more human-centered version of work, but aren’t sure how to get from here to there.

This is an invitation to redesign work so you tap into new sources of confidence and energy, and build the future you want to see.

Coaching

I’ll be your companion as you redesign work. You might be looking for a new role, jumping into entrepreneurialism or getting through burnout. Together, we’ll peel back societal pressures and center on what energizes you. My clients leave sessions with a stronger sense of their innate value, healthier boundaries between work and self, and clear action plans for moving their ideas forward.

Coaching involves a series of 1-hour sessions with self-driven activities in between.

Reach out to discuss what this could look like for you.

We’ll explore:

  • Your relationships with power, money, boundaries, and your voice.

  • The origins of your career beliefs.

  • The models of leadership you’ve inherited.

  • The difference between what you feel you should do and who you are.

We’ll experiment with + cultivate:

  • Being purely and uniquely you.

  • Empowered communication.

  • Feeling through your emotions and completing the stress cycle.

  • Disrupting individualism with collectivity and community.

  • Unbundling jobs into strategies for income, health care, flow, and societal contribution.

The world of work is changing.

What do you want to emerge?

Many of us, especially Millennials, have had such high expectations for our careers.

We’ve believed that success in life meant career advancement.

Working hard enough and proving ourselves to the right people meant we’ve “made it.” Work has become our main source of identity, purpose and community.

And now we’re realizing that’s a precarious place to be.

We’re burning out, we’re struggling financially, we’re barely juggling the demands of work and home life. All the while, there’s a giant chasm between CEO and median worker pay and layoffs can come at a moment’s notice.

We’re starting to ask ourselves what this could look like instead. Who are the types of leaders we want to work for…and be? How can we find some economic stability whether we’re employed or not? Who are our people?

How could work be something that’s not only sustainable, but energizing?

“Sarah really knows how to create a space for self exploration that kept everything moving towards deep takeaways that gave me clarity about my values, how I want to show up and what I could be doing. Along our journey there were so many little insights that Sarah helped to pull out that have been so helpful. Sarah helped me think outside of my regular patterns so that I could explore different options that I wouldn’t have gotten to otherwise.”
