Let’s put life back into livelihood

Hi there.

I’m Sarah Malin.

My mission is to create a life-giving version of work. I help Millennials set work/home boundaries and negotiate part-time work schedules.

Together, we can design the human-centered future we want to see.

I believe a new approach to work is emerging, but it needs more change agents. I coach people who want a more human-centered version of work, but aren’t sure how to get from here to there.

This is an invitation to redesign work so you tap into new sources of confidence and energy, and build the future you want to see.

The world of work is changing.

What do you want to emerge?

Many of us, especially Millennials, have had such high expectations for our careers.

We’ve believed that success in life meant career advancement.

Working hard enough and proving ourselves to the right people meant we’ve “made it.” Work has become our main source of identity, purpose and community.

And now we’re realizing that’s a precarious place to be.

We’re burning out, we’re struggling financially, we’re barely juggling the demands of work and home life. All the while, there’s a giant chasm between CEO and median worker pay and layoffs can come at a moment’s notice.

We’re starting to ask ourselves what this could look like instead. Who are the types of leaders we want to work for…and be? How can we find some economic stability whether we’re employed or not? Who are our people?

How could work be something that’s not only sustainable, but energizing?

Coaching Program

I’ll be your companion as you redesign work. You might be coming back to work as a new parent, you might be preparing for a major life change, you might be experiencing burnout. Together, we’ll identify what your ideal relationship to work is and prepare you to negotiate with your manager for a work schedule that allows you to show up fully.

My clients leave sessions with a stronger sense of self, healthier boundaries between work and home, and clear action plans for moving their ideas forward.

Coaching involves a series of 1-hour sessions with self-driven activities in between.

Reach out to discuss what this could look like for you.

In 10 sessions, we’ll cover:

Career fears

Career vision

Career plan

Empowered communication

Negotiation role-playing

Boundary setting

General sessions as needed:

  • Problem-solving

  • Embodiment practices to calm the nervous system

“Sarah really knows how to create a space for self exploration that kept everything moving towards deep takeaways that gave me clarity about my values, how I want to show up and what I could be doing. Along our journey there were so many little insights that Sarah helped to pull out that have been so helpful. Sarah helped me think outside of my regular patterns so that I could explore different options that I wouldn’t have gotten to otherwise.”
